Lighting Tips

We are often asked for lighting tips, we hope the following few suggestions will be of help.

Dimmers are always number one on our list. If  you planning on having floor lights then have those sockets on dimmers as well. Instant mood at  a twist of a switch. Remember that LEDs need a different dimmer.

Our pendant lights are often bought for over an island unit or table. This is an ideal use as the lights help to define a space, that way they are more than a simple light source; more a decoration.

Picture lights are a great way of providing a little drama, and mood, whilst also helping to give a focal point.

Bathroom lights, either side of the mirror. Harsh, we know. But you will be able to see what you are doing. Light that comes from too high above really does not work here.
