The French House has always worked with artisans and family firms to create its unique ranges of lighting and homewares. Our ceramic wall lights are made in a small workshop that has produced all our ceramic lighting for 12 years now.
Eulalie, seen here on the right, and her all-women team of potters make the shades using our moulds. The resulting clay shapes, known as bisque, are then left to dry for around 10 days before being given a glaze and fired.
After the work at the pottery is done the completed pieces will need their brass fittings, which are made in another workshop just down the road from the pottery.
The result is a beautiful artisan product that we are proud to offer you.
